Citytour & Museum of Fine Arts (KHM)
The Museum of Fine Arts (Kunsthistorisches Museum) is really one of my favorite places in Vienna!
We will start our day with a beautiful city tour and see Vienna’s most precious sights such as St. Stephan’s Cathedral and the Imperial Palace. Then we will enter the Museum of Fine Arts and explore its wonderful architecture and also some of my favorite paintings, mostly from Dutch Renaissance and Flemish Baroque. Maybe you have a favorite painting too, that you want to show me?
I will enlighten you about the Dutch artists Ian Van Eyck and Peter Breughel, then meet Master Rubens and Master Rembrandt and conclude our tour in the Museum with my most favorite painting, the Artists Workshop by Ian Vermeer.
Did you know that it was Adolf Hitlers favorite painting? It used to hang at the “Berghof”.
This tour is ideal if you want to combine a city tour and have guidance in one of the most impressive art collections of the world at the same time!
This tour will include a coffee break at the Museum of Fine Arts.
