Wachau Valley Tour

The Wachau is one of the most beautiful regions in Austria. Its charm is so picturesque that it was declared a UNESCO World heritage site.
Our tour will start out in your hotel and we will set out in a comfortable minivan to the Wachau region. We will be driven by a professional driver and a nice minivan.
Our first stop will be the quaint medieval city of Krems.
After a nice ride along the vineyards we will arrive at the very charming village of Dürnstein, where we can have a little wine tasting if you wish so.
At the village of Spitz its time to board our boat where we can have lunch while enjoying the magnificent view of the ravines.
Our highlight of the tour will be the magnificent Baroque Melk Abbey. It’s quite breathtaking!
If time permits, we will see the traditional Austrian Baroque village of Melk.

The tour will conclude in your hotel.

Jewish history of Vienna is a very delicate topic that many tour guides try to avoid. Susanne does a wonderful job in highlighting this important part of Vienna’s past! BEST DAY of our trip! It started with a scenic drive outside of the city on our way to the picturesque Wachau Valley. After an apricot danish in the town of Krems we saw several other quaint towns, and miles of miles of vineyards on our way to our lunchtime cruise down the Danube River and then ended up in the town of Melk and a tour of the Melk Abbey. Susanne planned a simply perfect day – one we won’t forget for quite some time! This was a 10 star tour!
